Went to sleep with some heavy rain coming down last night and woke up to find it STILL coming down… Hoping the high water will mean lots of big hungry carp feeding on the banks. Timely video… getting me pumped… may have to take a “long” lunch

“long” lunch turned into NO lunch before I knew it (damn post-vacation catch up)… better believe I’m out there after grabbing a quick bite after work though

Good deal Ward… I like freshly flooded banks for sure… carp know there is food rustling around up there in the newly flooded grass.

your video turned out to be a big tease for me… didn’t spot a single carp up on the bank yesterday afternoon. The wind was light, the water was up a solid ft+, water was even pouring out of the little spillway, it “should” have been prime time out there, but for some reason I couldn’t locate ‘em. The cats were stacked under the flooded inlets like normal, but no carp around… weird. Keeps me coming back for more…
